Constella Group Appoints New Heads of Operations and Sales and Marketing in Pharmaceutical Product Development

DURHAM, N.C., Dec. 5, 2006Constella Group, a leading global provider of professional health services, announced today that it has named Richard Shea as vice president of operations and John Reynolds as vice president of sales and marketing, both in Constella’s Pharmaceutical Product Development business unit .

As vice president of operations, Shea will coordinate all international operational activities, including overseeing strategic planning and implementing and managing change consistently within the business unit. Shea will play a critical role to integrate Lineberry Research Associates (LRA) into Constella. Constella completed its acquisition of LRA on Nov. 30, 2006

Shea joins Constella with 15 years of broad operational experience in pharmaceutical companies and CROs. His most recent position was as chief financial officer for the U.S.-based CRO, PharmaLinkFHI, based in Research Triangle Park, N.C. He holds a masters of business administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor of science from the University of Notre Dame.

As vice president of sales and marketing, Reynolds will lead the unit’s business development, marketing and client relations efforts. He will provide support for overall corporate positioning to ensure that Constella’s image and services are communicated to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Reynolds has a strong background in sales, marketing and new business development, within the CRO industry. He has international experience, having worked in Europe, the United States, the Far East, Australia and South America. His most recent position was as vice president of sales and marketing for a Swiss CRO.
