Constella Group Named One of the Best Places to Work in North Carolina's Triangle Region

Award Based on Direct Feedback from Employees

DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 15, 2006—Constella Group, a leading global provider of professional health services, announced today that Triangle Business Journal has named it one of the Best Places to Work based on direct feedback from the company’s employees. This is the sixth time that Constella has received a Best Places to Work award having won consecutively from 1999 through 2003.

Sponsored by Triangle Business Journal, a leading business publication in North Carolina, the annual Best Places to Work awards honor employers in North Carolina’s Triangle Region who have distinguished themselves by treating their employees exceptionally well. This year is the first time Constella has competed for the honor since the nomination process changed in 2004 from a narrative nomination format to an employee-survey-based process.

“While we are always honored to receive company awards, this one is particularly special because it is based on direct feedback from our employees,” said Chairman and CEO Donald A. Holzworth.

To qualify for the award competition, at least 50 percent of Constella’s Durham employees had to voluntarily complete a confidential online survey covering ten work-environment-related categories including team effectiveness, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, people practices, and others.

Constella was one of 92 companies that met the survey participation threshold out of 100 nominations. Less than one-third of those made the final list, which recognized the top 10 scoring companies in three size categories – small, medium, and large firms.

Based on feedback from 111 employees in Constella’s Durham office who took the survey, Constella made the list as one of the top scorers in the large-firm category.

Constella received its Best Places to Work award at a banquet held on Sept. 14. The company is featured in the Sept. 15 issue of Triangle Business Journal along with the 29 other winners.
