The report, Estimating the Global Impact of an AIDS Vaccine, finds that a moderately effective HIV/AIDS vaccine could have a significant impact on new HIV infections, leading to a reduction of 30 percent. The document emphasizes the importance of supporting vaccination with existing HIV prevention methods, including education and condom promotion, to maximize the effects of the combined efforts.
