Joan Reese to Speak on Business Acumen

DURHAM, N.C., Oct. 12, 2004—Joan Reese, Chief Operating Officer of Constella Clinical Informatics, will join three other accomplished business women at an upcoming breakfast meeting Oct. 13 in Raleigh to discuss how they have used wisdom, imagination and perseverance to thrive in today's business climate.

The breakfast program, titled "Success & Sagacity: A Spirited Conversation with Women Entrepreneurs," will be held from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the NC Museum of History. It is being presented the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and the Greater Raleigh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

The program will spotlight the acumen of each speaker and provide insights into how they succeed, what they've faced, and the grit and wit of their winning approach to business. In addition to Reese, the speakers are:

  • Pat Long, Co founder and President of Longistics
  • Beverly R. Murray, Founder and President of R&M
  • Billie J. Redmond, President of Trademark Properties
The cost for CED/NAWBO members is $15 in advance or $20 on-site. The fee for non-members is $25 in advance, $30 on-site.
