Constella Group Ranks No. 15 Among North Carolina's Fastest
Growing Technology Companies
DURHAM, N.C., Aug. 30, 2004Constella Group, a leading provider of human
health intelligence and technology services to public and private clients, has
been recognized as a N.C. Technology Fast 50 Awards winner for the eighth time.
Constella ranked No. 15 among North Carolina's 50 fastest growing technology
companies this year.
Constella placed with a five-year growth rate of 323 percent, moving the company
up 14 spots from last year's 29th ranking. Constella ranked 29 in 2003, 30 in
2002, 35 in 2001, 39 in 2000, 44 in 1999, 27 in 1997 and 23 in 1996.
The 10th annual award was sponsored by Deloitte & Touche LLP
in association with Wachovia, Robert Half Finance & Accounting, the Council
for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Business Leader magazine.

The N.C. Technology Fast 50 Awards program is part of a national competition
to honor fast-growing technology companies. North Carolina winners are eligible
to compete for national Technology Fast 500 honors.
To be considered for the competition, a company must have been in business
for at least five years, be headquartered in North Carolina and have revenues
of at least $50,000 in 1999 and at least $1 million in 2003. Nominees can be
publicly or privately held companies. They encompass all industry segments including
biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, Internet, software
and communications.
