Constella Group, Inc., Named N.C. Technology Fast 50 Award Winner for Fifth Consecutive Year

This is the fifth consecutive time that Constella has been named to the list. Constella had a five-year growth rate of 236 percent, moving the company up one spot from last year's 30th ranking.

The 2003 award, sponsored by Deloitte and Touche LLP, marks the seventh time that Constella has been named to the list. Constella ranked 30 in 2002, 35 in 2001, 39 in 2000, 44 in 1999, 27 in 1997 and 23 in 1996.

The N.C. Technology Fast 50 Awards program, now in its ninth year, is part of a national competition to honor fast-growing technology companies. North Carolina winners are eligible to compete for national Technology Fast 500 honors.

To be considered for the competition, a company must have been in business for at least five years, be headquartered in North Carolina and have revenues of at least $50,000 in 1998 and at least $1 million in 2002. Nominees can be publicly or privately held companies. They encompass all industry segments including biotechnology, semiconductors, Internet, software and communications.
