ASI Wins Fourth Platinum Rule Award — This Time for Unique Company Culture

Started in 1998, the Platinum Rule Award recognizes employers who have distinguished themselves by treating their employees exceptionally well. Winners must have demonstrated success through The Platinum Rule—"Do unto others as they would like done unto them."

This year, ASI was one of 12 winning companies out of 75 applicants. Winners, representing small, mid-sized and large businesses, were awarded in five award categories, including Culture, Family Friendly, People Development, Community Service and Incentives, Rewards, Recognitions.

The "Culture" category honors companies whose cultures help employees feel connected to and appreciated by the organization. It focuses on the uniqueness of the culture and the way it is valued by employees. Nominations in this category cover the company's vision, work environment, communications, values, integrity, diversity, loyalty, resources and leadership.

"Winning this award every year since its inception four years ago is simply amazing," said Holzworth. "The hard work and dedication of all of our employees make ASI a great place to work. This award is not about revenue profit, or growth; it's about who we are as a company and our commitment to making ASI the 'employer of choice.'"

In 2001, ASI was the large company winner in the "People Development" category, which honors companies that recognize the need of employees to learn new skills and to move into more challenging or rewarding positions. Companies that excel in this category not only provide the means for employees to develop, but they also actively encourage it.

In 2000, ASI was honored as the mid-sized company winner in the "Culture" category. In 1999, ASI was named the mid-sized company winner in the "Incentives" category for thanking its employees for a job well done and for encouraging them to continue improving.
