Family Planning and Reproductive HealthThe disparities between reproductive health risks in developed and developing countries are vast. Millions of people in developing countries still lack access to quality services, including modern family planning methods, emergency obstetric services, and prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections. For many people, especially the poor, demand is growing faster than the resources to meet it. For more than three decades, Constella Futures has played a leading role in meeting the reproductive health needs of women and men throughout the developing world. Our efforts cover a wide range of services, including improving the policy environment, advocating for policy change, promoting contraceptive security, and computer modeling for resource allocation. Constella Futures strives to ensure the appropriate integration of family planning and reproductive health with HIV/AIDS programs, repositioning family planning in the wake of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Forging public-private partnerships to expand health care and service delivery, facilitating access to quality products and services through social marketing programs, and changing attitudes and behaviors related to gender equity and adolescent reproductive and sexual health are all pivotal elements of our work.
