Environmental Health and Geosciences
Constella Futures is a leader in strengthening the environmental science
and geoscience capabilities of countries as they assess their natural resources,
mitigate against natural disasters, develop water resource systems, and cleanup
environmental waste. A growing global concern is the connection between public
and environmental health. Many of these public health threats, such as water
quality and bioaccumulative contaminants, are associated with the complex relationships
between people and their environment. We specialize in helping clients make
strategic decisions in the presence of future uncertainty by emphasizing practical – rather
than theoretical – applications.
Through our Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA) with
federal agencies, such as the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers, Constella Futures can leverage more than 30,000 scientist, engineers,
and technicians. This legally binding agreement allows Constella Futures to
incorporate the company’s considerable experience in international management
with this wealth of technical knowledge. Constella Futures, in collaboration
with its CRADA partners, work to transfer skills and knowledge to our in-country
partners through both informal training and courses. In the area of human resources
development, Constella Futures staff has organized more than 3000 courses and
customized training programs in a broad range of specialties to individuals
from 125 countries.
