Constella Presents Five Posters at 2007 Association of Public Health Laboratories Meeting

Constella was pleased to have five employees presenting posters at this year’s Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) Meeting, held June 3-5 at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida.

APHL is a non-profit organization that works to strengthen public health laboratories in the US and around the world by advancing laboratory systems and practices, and promoting policies that support healthy communities. For more information about APHL and the organization’s annual conference, visit APHL’s website.

The annual APHL meeting attracts US, state, city and county public health directors, environmental and agricultural lab directors, senior lab staff, government and private lab personnel, and others interested in learning about the latest issues related to laboratory sciences.

Topic areas for this year’s meeting included environmental issues, emergency preparedness, informatics to food safety, and newborn screening and global health. Constella’s posters, which were directly related to these areas, included the following: (click on the links to see the posters)

All of the above authors/presenters work in the Laboratory Sciences Division of Constella's Health Sciences business unit. Dr. Ed Gaunt, who leads the Laboratory Sciences Division, also contributed to two of the posters.
