Baltimore County regarding the adoption of evidence-based policy. See his presentation,

— June 9: Dr. Manderscheid participates in a panel discussion on Mental
Health at the 2007 IRE (Investigative
Reporters and Editors) Conference in Phoenix, AR. The topic of the session,
which was sponsored by The
Carter Center Mental Health Program, was "Investigating state mental health
systems: From hospitals to the community."
— May 30: Dr. Manderscheid participates
in panel discussion at annual National Conference on Mental Health Statistics
to discuss ideas around State Mental Health Agencies adopting electronic health

— May 11: Dr. Manderscheid participates in luncheon at National Press Club
to encourage leaders in substance abuse field to develop a national strategy
for presidential candidates. The event was organized by George Washington University.
— May 4: Dr. Manderscheid participates in meeting of the Senate Mental
Health Caucus staff to provide comments on the context in which SAMHSA operates

at Annual National Meeting of the National Council on Community Behavioral Healthcare
