As Chief Financial Officer, Jim Scheuer is responsible for Constella's strategic financial direction. He supports the company through its strategic partnering and serves as the Corporate Secretary. Scheuer helps manage board and investor relations, oversees Constella's treasury functions, and plays a critical role in the company's merger and acquisition activities.

Prior to joining Constella in 2005, Scheuer held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Ultimius, Inc., in Cary, N.C., an international software company. In this position, Scheuer oversaw internal financial reporting and accounting, financial analysis, facilities, outside legal activities, risk management, and human relations. His accomplishments included installing a new online worldwide financial accounting and reporting system.

Scheuer's experience includes managing acquisitions, banking, and investor relationships, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Ultimius, Scheuer spent six years at SciQuest, Inc., a software and solutions company in Research Triangle Park, N.C. In this role, he oversaw all of the company's financial and reporting systems and orchestrated the raising of $37.5 million in venture capital funding. Scheuer led the company to a successful $138 million initial public offering in November 1999. He also played a key role in negotiating and integrating eight strategic acquisitions.

Scheuer has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer with Boise Marketing Services, Hickory Farms, Inc., and has served as partner with Deloitte Haskins and Sells. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and is a Certified Public Accountant.
