Paul Nedzbala

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Health Sciences, Paul Nedzbala leads
the strategic direction, growth, service delivery and all other operational
aspects of Constella’s Health Sciences business unit, which provides
health and biomedical services to U.S. governments, state and local governments
and foundations.
Nedzbala joined Constella in 2001 with the company’s acquisition of
United Information Systems, an information technology and health sciences company
where he had served in various leadership roles since 1993, culminating to
Vice President of Information Technology Services. He initially served as Director
of Operations for the Health Sciences unit’s Center for Health Information
Technology, which specializes in combining deep domain expertise with innovative
IT solutions to further public health initiatives. He was promoted to Vice
President of the Center in 2005 and subsequently grew its revenue by more than
30 percent in two years. He also helped Constella substantially expand its
presence in key domains like mental health and substance use, and public health
preparedness.
Nedzbala has more than 20 years of federal contracting experience, providing
organizational and program leadership to support national IT programs for the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of
Health (NIH), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
(SAMHSA), the Department of Defense (DoD) and many other government agencies.
His more recent work involves developing state-of-the-art biosurveillance technologies,
multi-functional web applications, and various research-related technology
infrastructures.
Prior to joining Constella, Nedzbala served as a program manager for the
Washington Consulting Group where he lead a team of software engineers in supporting
various IT initiatives for the National Institute of Mental Health.
Nedzbala holds a B.S. in management science/decision support systems from
Virginia Polytechnic Institute. |
