Steve Grossman is a Senior Medical Director at Constella.
His responsibilities include the medical oversight for projects,
strategic consulting on overall drug development issues,
and writing services on regulatory and non-regulatory projects.
Grossman joined Constella through its acquisition of Lineberry
Research Associates (LRA) in 2006.
Prior to joining LRA, Grossman served in various senior level scientific positions, including project leadership, at Burroughs Wellcome Co., Glaxo Wellcome Inc., and GlaxoSmithKline. He has over 20 years of experience in clinical trial design, regulatory interactions and submissions, safety evaluations, and due diligence activities. His clinical drug development experience is primarily in the cardiovascular, critical care, and metabolic therapeutic areas.
Grossman is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and has the Specialist designation from the American Society of Hypertension. In addition, he is an adjunct clinical professor in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Grossman earned a B.A. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia.
