Richard Cohn, Ph.D.
Vice President, Center for Health Research
Working in Constella's health sciences unit since 1987,
Dr. Richard Cohn brings more than 20 years of experience
as a consultant to government, industry and academia to
his role as Vice President of Health Sciences'
Center for Health Research. He oversees a center that includes
leading health scientists and statisticians who conduct
research and address critical needs in such fields as environmental
health, children's health, biodefense, immunization, occupational
safety and health, and infectious disease prevention.
Cohn has been recognized for important statistical and methodological contributions in such diverse fields as epidemiologic and clinical research, atmospheric environmental research, clinical laboratory performance evaluations, and survey research. He has extensive experience in designing studies, designing and executing specialized data analyses, and disseminating results to clients and the scientific community.
Prior to joining Constella, Cohn served a five-year term as a statistician at the University of North Carolina's Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center.
Cohn holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Virginia, a master's in statistics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and a doctorate in statistics from North Carolina State University.
