The Council for Entrepreneurial Development, responsible for promoting the entrepreneurial culture of the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina region, presented Don Holzworth, Constella’s Chairman and CEO, with the 2007 Entrepreneurial Excellence award. Presented each year, the award recognizes an entrepreneur who exemplifies creativity, leadership, opportunity, recognition, personal drive to excel, persistence and the ability to inspire others with a winning business concept. Entrepreneurs must also achieve great success while serving as a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Susan Acker–Walsh won the award in 2004 and was one of only 10 individuals recognized out of 85 nominations.
